Warning: Blackberry Storm is Coming.

“Blackberry Storm”

The BlackBerry Storm name just became a LOT more official.

A storm’s arrival typically isn’t something to celebrate, but we’re going to make a notable exception here seeing how the BlackBerry Storm is less of a destructive weather pattern and more of an incredibly hot smartphone arguably RIM’s hottest to date.

RIM has launched its official BlackBerry Storm webpage.

Engadget has unearthed a BlackBerry Storm box with Verizon logos all over it.

Vodafone has launched an interactive guide for the BlackBerry Storm 9500. Vodafone held a presentation to show off their upcoming touch screen BlackBerry Storm.

Rumor has it that RIM, Verizon and Vodafone will be announcing the Storm in New York on October 9th.
The BlackBerry Thunder is a smartphone developed by Research In Motion.

While the slides don’t tell us much that we didn’t already know from the Verizon National Account Manager slides that leaked previously, they do provide a great look at Storm’s touchscreen text input.

It will be available for Vodafone The Storm will pack CDMA/EV-DO Rev.

Turns out the snapping up of the Blackberry Storm domains is from a registrar other than the one RIM normally uses, signaling it’s somebody close to RIM knowing the codename that grabbed these in hopes of getting a small cash out down the road should the name stick.

RIM calls the Storm’s web browsing experience “best in class.”

While Verizon brews the Storm, the Thunder name will accompany the device on carriers like Vodafone.

Actually, I’m pretty sure this is the first time in the history of RIM that the device’s codename have actually gone through and become the product names.

With its advanced functionality and cutting edge design the Z9 Bluetooth Headset offers a range of differentiating features which ensure crystal clear wireless enabled communication.

After weeks of leaks and goofy internal videos, it looks like the Thunder Storm is finally coming - the first ads for the RIM’s touchscreen wonder aired on CBS tonight.
